If you are new to driving instruction, or just keen to make sure you are fully covered, we offer multiple products for driving instructors to help you build a package that suits your needs.
PDI Insurance
Potential Driving Instructor Insurance
Once you have completed Parts 1 & 2 of your PDI qualification and are looking to take part 3 (the instructional section) you may look for insurance that allows you to begin teaching pupils.
The cover works as an any driver policy, allowing you to teach pupils whilst you look to gain your ADI qualification. You can take insurance to do this yourself or sign up to a driving school that will allow you to use theirs (and often lease you a vehicle at the same time).
At driiv, we can provide those training independently to be PDI instructors with insurance.

Approved Driving Instructor Insurance
Once qualified, if you are planning on driving as an independent driving instructor you require ADI insurance.
The cover you require, and that driiv provide is an any driver policy that allows you to teach pupils over 17 years of age on public roads and allows them to take their test in your vehicle when they are being observed by an examiner.
Our policies allow for social, domestic and pleasure use by yourself too, and in some cases allows for commuting to a second role. If you want to get a price for your ADI insurance, click below.
